The Kren-Ziar System is a star system and territory of the Kree Empire.
The planets residing in the system were rich in mineral deposits, which were the reasons that the Kree conquered the system and enslaving the entire indigenous population to work their mines.[1]
One of the planets, Ziar IV, is the largest and richest mineral-deposit in the system and was surround with a field of spatial mines to ensure, if all else failed, that their slaves on the planet could not flee.[1]
Kree Supreme Public Accuser Ronan had held a "trial" on the X-Men near Ziar IV's orbit for harboring Superman, until the interference of the said superhero along with Green Lantern John Stewart saved the X-Men and dropping the charges.[1]
